Who am I? My name is John Horrigan.  I am a teacher and librarian from Coleytown Middle School in Westport, Connecticut. If you want to contact me, you can send me an email... cmslmc@hotmail.com
What was I doing in China? I was teaching conversational English to Senior High Students in Xinhua Middle School in Yangzhou, China. I will be teaching here until January, 2001. I am teaching in China under a program sponsored by the Westport Board of Education and ACLS in New York City.
Where is Yangzhou? Yangzhou, in Jiangsu Province, China. We are located right on the Yangtze (Changjiang) River about 100 miles from Shanghai. Yangzhou is also located on the Grand Canal, an ancient man-made waterway that links Beijing (Peking) in the north with Hangzhou in the south. Click on the links to see maps and learn more!
