| What was I doing in China? | I was teaching conversational English to Senior High Students in Xinhua Middle School in Yangzhou, China. I will be teaching here until January, 2001. I am teaching in China under a program sponsored by the Westport Board of Education and ACLS in New York City. | ||
| Where is Yangzhou? | Yangzhou, in Jiangsu Province, China. We are located right on the Yangtze (Changjiang) River about 100 miles from Shanghai. Yangzhou is also located on the Grand Canal, an ancient man-made waterway that links Beijing (Peking) in the north with Hangzhou in the south. Click on the links to see maps and learn more!
