Science Research Club

PURPOSE

The Science Research Club is an opportunity for 6th, 7th & 8th grade students to conduct scientific research, carry-out experiments, and/or design inventions according to their interests.

The goal of the club is for its members to have fun and compete in State & national competitions.

Students will present their projects or inventions at a science research fair in January.

They will then move on to compete in the CT state science fair, CT Invention convention or the Siemens’ “We Can Change the World Challenge.”

The club advisor will mentor club members through the process of completing their projects and applications to their chosen competition.
